The addictive potential in today's world is great: nicotine and alcohol are well-known stimulant that can end in an addiction. Other drugs, however sometimes make a person immediately dependent.
If a man addicted to nicotine, alcohol or other drug addiction, there are several ways to stop the alcohol addiction and drug addiction. A so-called "cold" weaning means here that the drug is withdrawn completely, plain and simple. This type of deprivation is particularly difficult for the addict, because he will have to deal with withdrawal symptoms that are relieved by any medication. In this variation on drug detoxification often arises even voluntarily, because the victim sometimes no longer has the financial means to obtain his drug.
Another method that is used for mild to moderate cases of alcoholism or drug addiction, is the home withdrawal. The domestic withdrawal takes place in cooperation with a physician. Here we completely deny the addict the drug, as stipulated by the doctor or - on request - but also one can administer drugs that suppress the withdrawal symptoms. Because of the patient’s dependency on the drug that he is using, he must be weaned from this drug. Through a successful detoxification process, the patient is ultimately drug free and independent of his addiction.
The only way to achieve from addiction is to steadily and continuously withdraw the patient from the specific drug of his addiction. In this case, the person concerned from morning to evening should be supervised. Further, psychological therapy is also a must. Psychological support for the addict should not be underestimated - this applies both to the addicts themselves and for relatives who may also have psychological damage from it. The addicts often do not see their dependence and deny it. The detection of the disease is so difficult, that a cold or a domestic removal in these cases are rarely crowned with success.
